Amitabha

May I introduce myself; I am a 39 year old father of 4 children and became a student of the shaolin arts about one and a half years ago.
Here I stand now, with a completely changed live, or should I say; live's still the same more or less but my ways of taking it went kind of "topsy-turvy" compared to what they've been before. In fact my sight now is clarified greatly and  the "old" way of looking to live seems to have been really topsy-turvy..........

Now what is this site supposed to offer you?
Not as such a self expression, but a representation of the Shaolin arts as I get to know them and about my livechanging experiences I had with and through them...

I used to be a mere intellectual, trying to cope with everything by intellectualisation.

I also used to jump at problems and wangle them to get them to fit my live, nowadays I just softly slide my hip to the left and let it float by starboard…

Also I can take mostly everything with much more ease. I feel relaxed and happy most of the time and that doesn’t only affect me, it looks as if all the people around me seem to light up, even the ones I couldn’t stand before.

It’s just that I don’t let things, that do not pertain me, bother me anymore and that feels so healthy…

Don’t misunderstand me, I am not at all enlightened, completely in my middle or how ever you would call it, but compared to my former live the changes and the effects are tremendous.

And all this is a direct consequence of Qi kung, Kung fu and Zen Buddhism.

The honour I feel when I think of all the people who have brought these arts to perfection in the past hundreds of years is so immense. It fills me with deep pride to get the opportunity to train the same things so many others had to struggle to get to learn it, because a lot of the secrets Sigung Wong shares with us openly were very carefully hidden in the past.

Now I'd like to share some quotes My Sifu and my Sigung are using consistently, because I find them very essential, not only for Kung fu but for daily live. They all are simple, direct and effective wich dosen't mean its easy....

The first one concerns the three golden rules: " Rule No.1 ==> relax

                                                                                   Rule No.2 ==> relax

                                                                                   Rule No.3 ==> relax  "

This one is usually used when we are in some position e.g. Horse riding stance, wich is quite hard if you do it phisically. If you manage to really relax, not only phisically but also mentally, you'll be able to let go of the pain or anything else that might be a hindrance and if you're capable of letting go, more relaxation will appear....

The second one is : "Don't worry, enjoy yourself! "

If you walk through live worrying about this and that - "how am I to react on  this" and  "Oh, this happend, what's gonna be next, how am I to cope with it"- then you will end up spending lots of time pondering around.

But if you don't worry and enjoy yourself live will be much easier, peacefull and free. For example if you have a job with to much work at the moment, relax and enjoy that you're not unemloyed. If yu're unemployed relax and enjoy having so much time to train your Kung fu... ;-)

Of course its not that easy but that's just the principle of how it works.

The third one is:

So don't hazetate and go for a stroll round the site, may be you'll get inspired and like to get to know more about this wonderfull arts.
